The 2017 UK City of Culture has a burgeoning reputation as the epicentre of East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire’s digital tech community. According to Tech City UK’s “Tech Nation 2017” report – the most comprehensive analysis of the UK digital tech ecosystem – Hull is helping to secure the UK’s position as the digital capital of Europe.
The city and wider East Riding are together seen as a hotspot for digital activity, with start-ups taking root here in increasing numbers and established businesses enjoying unprecedented growth.
KCOM and the Hull Daily Mail are therefore proud to host for a third year The Digital Awards, which celebrate and highlight the creative strides being made in the development and use of digital technology.
The awards will bring together the movers and shakers of the digital community for another exciting event to recognise the inspirational companies that are at the cutting edge of digital business in the region.
With 11 categories covering everything from best mobile app to best digital marketing communication, KCOM and the Hull Daily Mail invite businesses, organisations and individuals from all sectors to enter, presenting a comprehensive showcase of the innovative spirit and indomitable pride that exist in Hull in East Yorkshire. The Digital Awards 2017 will be held at the stunning Stage@TheDock, a pioneering cultural and community venue offering spectacular views over the city’s growing digital and cultural quarter.
Early booking is strongly advised, as the capacity is limited for what is set to be a hugely popular event. You could be a winner at Hull and East Yorkshire’s Digital Awards 2017. Whether you have recently created a novel way of engaging social media audiences, or demonstrated global reach surpassing any of your competitors, or engaged young learners in a project using technology, this is your chance to prove to the region that you are a digital innovator deserving of recognition.
